Getting to LA

The Airports of LA

LA is one of the most easily accessible cities in the world. Served by 4 major freeways and a network of freeways that link to every major interstate in the US, getting to LA is efficient, affordable and easy.

LA is served by 4 primary airports, Los Angeles Int'l, (LAX), Burbank, Long Beach and Ontario. Each airport has its pros and cons-however if renting a car when arriving in LA, its a good idea to compare airfares to all the different airports in the region.

LAX is by far the most convienent of all the region's airports with over 1,000 flights a day to destinations all over the US, Europe, Mexioc and Asia. With a variety of airlines serving LAX, booking cheap and effiicient flights and tours is a little easier. LAX is closer to the beach cities of Venice, Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica as well as Beverly Hills. Burbank maybe a little more convienent for those staying in the West Hollywood and Hollywood areas.

Burbank, Ontario and Long Beach all lie on the outer perimeters of the area. The biggest disadvantges to using these airports is the travel times on the freeways to reach each one.
