The Century City mall is located in the very center of Century City surrounded by high rises housing some of the entertainment industry's biggest names in talent management, publishing and business and legal affairs. By all means not a pretentious exterior or an environment with edgy atmosphere that you would find in either Beverly Hills, Hollywood or Santa Monica. Home to over 100 stores the Century City Mall definitely is home to some of the biggest names in fashion as well as smaller upscale boutiques.

 

The Century City Mall has an outdoor layout in a somewhat square-maze format. It is very easy to get lost in the mall as each of the corridors tend to look alike. There are two major department stores that hold court in the mall-Bloomingdales and Macy's. Both stores are a slightly smaller version than their counterparts at the Beverly Center-and not to lose local LA customers to one or the other, maintain slightly different inventory offerings.

In addition to the many shops and department stores, the Century City Mall is home to dozens of smaller kiosks in the center walkways between stores. These kiosks offer a variety of merchandise from ties, hats and bracelets to language learning software. The mall is also home to an extensive food court on the second level offering a large variety of menus and several upscale quality restaurants. If shopping isn't your thing, you'll find just the dining options alone are excuse to check the mall out.

 

Aside from the extensive shopping and dining choices, the Century City Mall is home to the AMC Movie theatres. With over a dozen screens and state of the art sound and video projection, the AMC Century City theatre features stadium seating and always has a broad range of movie choices from action to family.

The clientele of the Century City Mall tend to be mostly LA locals from the surrounding areas of Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Brentwood. During the work week it is not unusual to see dozens of suit types taking lunch breaks from the many office towers to dine and shop.
