This Courtyard by Marriott in Century City is located along Olympic Blvd just to the west of the main Century City business and entertainment district. The hotel is somewhat of a larger structure in appearance and is an efficient, clean and affordable property located near all the major sights. For this particular hotel you will definitely need a car to even access Century City which is still about half a mile up the hill on Olympic and not easily accessible by foot.
The hotel is closest to Century City, home to the entertainment industry's business sector as well as a central shopping and entertainment center. Further west about a mile is Beverly Hills. The Holiday Inn Express is also easily accessible by car to Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Bel Air and Brentwood. As LA is very spread out, the Holiday Inn Express is a little more centrally located than most hotels. Although the hotel lies on a very busy street, Olympic, public transportation from this area can be scarce The hotel is across the street from Ralphs, a major grocery store chain in southern California.
The hotel has a larger lobby complete with lounge areas along with the front desk. The hotel sprawls out parallel to Olympic Blvd and the rooms have views of either the Century City high rises or the adjacent residential neighborhoods.
The area of the hotel and its adjacent neighbor hotel, a Holiday Inn Express, is mostly upscale residential with homes on either side leading up to the hotel property.
