The Grafton on Sunset is a hip, modern and young hotel located on the heart of West Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Sandwiched between the Sunset Tower, Mondrian and Andaz hotels, The Grafton on Sunset is a boutique property with 108 rooms. Situated on the south face of Sunset Blvd the hotel has spectacular views of all of Los Angeles and Downtown. The hotel is walking distance from all the sights and sounds of the Sunset Strip including the House of Blues, Comedy Store, Myagis and the Sky Bar.
No matter what direction the visitor turns from the lobby, their senses will be overwhelmed by the lights and sounds of the Sunset Strip. At evening time the stretch of the blvd where the hotel is located comes to life with bright neon signs, crowds dressed to the nines and high price cars and limos that at times cause almost gridlock along the strip.
The hotel is centrally located to take advantage by car of all the sights in Hollywood, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. However if your travels take you to the beaches and westside (Santa Monica, Brentwood, Bel Air) , the drive times to those locations can be up to an hour in peak rush hour times but less than 20 in off peak periods.
Do to the high traffic area of the Sunset Strip, maneuvering this area via an automobile can be tricky. During evening and weekends this stretch often becomes grid locked with party goers, visitors and locals. You will find a heavy police force along this stretch during these times as well. In addition during the evenings and weekends there is a great deal of foot traffic along the sidewalk in front of the hotel.
