Those looking to visit Hollywood will find quiet street off of Franklin and between Franklin and Hollywood Blvd's is Orchid Avenue. At the very end of Orchid Avenue where it dead ends and on the southeast corner is the Hollywood Liberty Hotel. Definitely a tourist class hotel offering clean, safe and affordable rooms that is just steps away from all the action on Hollywood Blvd. This hotel is also across the street from the Hollywood Orchid Suites and the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel.
Upon arrival at the Hollywood Liberty Hotel you will find it to be small and boutique in appearance. The rooms are very clean and accommodating. Towering above the Hollywood Liberty Hotel you will see the much larger Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. The property is just steps away from the Hollywood and Highland center and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. From here you can board numerous tourist buses for tours of celeb homes and all of the LA hots pots. In addition there are numerous dining possibilities. The Hollywood and Highlands Complex is also home to a Metro Stop where you can board the subway for access to either Downtown LA or Universal Studios in Studio City.
If you are planning on leaving the Hotel to branch out across LA, you will need a car. Although you can comfortably visit this area of Hollywood without one as the tour buses provide hop on and off opportunity, it is still more convenient when venturing out beyond the Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. Drive time to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood is only 20 minutes or less. However if you plan on visiting the westside that encompasses the beaches, Santa Monica, Venice, Bel Air and Brentwood, the drive maybe as long as 45 minutes in peak travel periods.
