Situated along the southern end of the Avenue of the Stars in Century City stands the Intercontinental Los Angeles. The hotel is the perfect location if you have business in the Century City area. Only steps from the twin Century City towers and across the street from the FOX Plaza the hotel is also and around the corner from the 20th Century Fox Studio lot and down the street from the the brand new office complexes of Century City. This new complex is home to major talent agencies, producers, music publishers and entertainment attorneys.
The property is a 4 star state of the art facility. With a modern and glass lobby as well as a traditional California stucco type architecture design, the hotel is relaxing and comfortable. Each room has its own private and secure balcony that allow for doors to be open at night and the cool Pacific breeze to flow in. Depending on what room and floor that is assigned, there are many rooms that have spectacular views of either the Pacific Ocean, Century City and Beverly Hills or the sprawling back lot of the 20th Century Fox studios. In addition to being only walking distance to the major business centers, the hotel is down the street from the Century City mall. It is here you can shop at a variety of shops and enjoy some of LA's most delicious dining all centered in one spot.
The Intercontinental is one of two hotels located in the heart of Century City. The other being the Hyatt Plaza Century City. Both hotels are located near each other on the Avenue of the Stars. The closest neighborhood next to Century City and easy access to the Intercontinental is Beverly Hills. Only minutes away by car, staying in Century City is an excellent alternative to Beverly Hills. Westwood, Bel Air and Brentwood are only minutes away as well. For the most part the Intercontinental is somewhat centrally located. Although in rush hour and peak times if you are looking to go as far east as Hollywood or as far west as the beach, the drive time could be as long as 45 minutes and up to an hour if you are trying to reach downtown.
