The Marina International Hotel is a tourist class property located in the heart of Marina Del Rey. The front entrance of the hotel looks out in the Marina Del Rey harbor where there are hundreds of boats docked while at any given moment dozens are transitioning in and out of the harbor to the Pacific Ocean. The back end of the Marina International Hotel is parallel with Washington Blvd which is lined with bars, restaurants and terminates at the beach in Venice.
In addition to being very convenient to all the sights of Marina Del Rey, the hotel is walking distance to Venice Beach and the Ocean Front Walk. It is in this area there are hundreds of people on bikes, roller blades, skateboards and foot enjoying the bars, restaurants, and funky retail vendors that line this area.
The Marina International is in a safe and clean area and the property itself is clean, efficient and comfortable.
If you are planning on making the most of your stay on a budget in the Marina Del Rey, Venice or Santa Monica area, the Marina International Hotel is a good choice, however if you are planning on visiting Beverly Hills, Hollywood or West Hollywood, drive times to those areas can be up to an hour in peak traffic times and 30 minutes or less in off peak times (evenings and weekends).
