The Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles is a state of the art property with a glass exterior and surrounded on all sides by palm trees. Each room affords spectacular views of downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains. The hotel is located in the northern section ofdowntown and is centrally located in the financial district and is less than a 5 minute walk to the Disney Concert Hall. Other downtown venues such as Staples Center, Nokia Theater and LA Live are about a 15 minute walk. The hotel has 400 rooms.

Visitors looking to travel beyond downtown to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice and Santa Monica will find that downtown LA is somewhat segregated from those areas. Drive time to Hollywood at rush hour can be up to 45 minutes while up to an hour to other areas of the city. During off peak times travel time to the beach areas, Beverly Hills and Hollywood are less than 30 minutes.
