In addition the hotel is located right next to Beverly Hills and just a few miles west of Hollywood. Upon entering the hotel you will defiantly notice its Hollywood glamour appeal combined with modern sophistication. Each room has a walkout balcony and depending on what side of the hotel your room is placed you will be treated to a spectacular view. The south end has views of all of West Hollywood and beyond into Los Angeles and down to LAX. The west view faces Beverly Hills, the north the Hollywood Hills and the multi million dollar estates that dot them and the east view follows the Sunset Strip and Hollywood into Downtown.
If you are a fan of Hell's Kitchen on FOX, the star Chef, Gordon Ramsay is also the main chef and oversees all menus and dining options at The London. In addition the hotel hosts a rooftop pool and is increasing its presence as a high profile event venue for Hollywood's hottest gatherings.
If your plans call for a stay over the weekend note that the Sunset Strip, just to the north of the hotel on weekend nights faces nearly gridlock conditions with car and foot crowds. The hotel is conveniently located just minutes by car to Beverly Hills and Hollywood. If you are heading to the westside (beaches, Santa Monica, Venice and Brentwood) note the drive time in peak hours can be up to 30-45 minutes and less than 20 on off peak times. While Sunset Blvd is right around the corner, West Hollywood's other exciting area, Santa Monica Blvd, home to the Gay and Lesbian community is about a 10 minute walk down San Vicente.
There are a scattering of small convenience stores for basic needs on Sunset but no major drug/grocery story within a comfortable walking distance.
