The residential area only consist of one hotel, the famed Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunset Blvd.
The commercial area is the main shopping area of Beverly Hills and includes the areas of Rodeo Drive, Wilshire Blvd and Little Santa Monica Blvd. All of the hotels in this area are walking distance to the main sights of Beverly Hills. There is a wide variety of dining choices in this area of Beverly Hills. The hotels in this area are the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Wilshire, Luxe Hotel Beverly Hills, The Crescent, Thompson Hotel, Mosaic Hotel, The Crescnet and Peninsula Hotel.
The lower area of Beverly Hiills is a residential area that compromised of smaller homes than those north of Santa Monica Blvd and is south of Wilshire Blvd. There are several hotels in this area. The hotels south of Wilshire are up to a mile south and will require a car. Walking time is about 20 minutes from these hotels to Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Drive. The hotels located in this area of Beverly Hills are The Tower Beverly Hills, The Avalon and the Crown Plaza Beverly Hills.
Finally there is a small scattering of hotels located on the eastern border that Beverly Hills shares with West Hollywood. These hotels are about a 20 minute walk or driving distance from Rodeo Drive and the shopping areas of Beverly Hills but are only 5 minute walk from the heart of central West Hollywood.
